Obituary

William C. “Cody” Read 36 of East Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Aug. 9, 2023. Born in Allentown, Pa., he was the son of Dorothy (Kurpita) Read of E. Stroudsburg, Pa. and the late William C. Read. Cody was a lifelong resident of the E. Stroudsburg area and was employed as a landscaper for several years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother Ian G. Read and his wife Gretchen Krebs of Sonoma, CA. and a niece Mica Read.

Graveside services and interment will be on Monday Aug. 14, 2023, at 11:00am in the Prospect Cemetery E. Stroudsburg, Pa. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements.
