Walter K. Pitti

Walter K. Pitti, 70, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at his home.  He was the loving husband of Laura Pitti with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Amityville, New York, he was a son of the late Walter and Dorothy Pitti.

Walter graduated from Eastern Military Academy of Long Island in 1974. He later worked in elevator construction for several different companies for over 30 years. After retiring, he took part-time jobs at Weis Markets in Tannersville and Steele’s Hardware. Walter loved horses having worked with horses as a young man. He loved his family above all else and worked hard to provide for them.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children: Dorissa Pitti; Jessica Pitti; grandchildren: Tanner Blackford; Riley Blackford; brother: David Pitti; and beloved pup and best pal, Prada. He was preceded in death by his son, Keith Pitti.

There will be no services at this time. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
