Walter F. Covetskie

   Walter F. Covetskie, 88, of Sciota, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday May 21, 2025, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Bethlehem, PA. He was the widower of Lillian (Genkus) Covetskie. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Frank and Mary (Hartman) Covetskie.

  Walter was residing in the Sciota area for the past 30 years and worked as a self-employed contractor for many years. He attended St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Stroudsburg, Pa.

  Walter is survived by a daughter Debra Woods and her husband Kenneth of Sciota, Pa., 3 grandchildren: Tiffany, Jessica and Stacey and 2 great grandchildren: Anthony and Brandon. He was preceded in death by a daughter Theresa Sadicario.

 There will be a catholic prayer service on Friday May 23, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of the services at the funeral home.
