Virginia "Ginny" Broderick

Virginia (Ginny) M. Broderick, 85, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday July 24, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Charles and Dorothy Folz.

Ginny was a resident of the East Stroudsburg area for the past 40 years. She was employed as a drug and alcohol counselor and helped many people. She was also a counselor for the Monroe County prison for six years and was an advocate for abused children. Ginny was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church in East Stroudsburg. She was a wonderful friend and will truly be missed.

She is survived by a daughter Cheryl Dougherty of East Stroudsburg and two grandchildren: Taylor Forgione and Colby Arend.

A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N. 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to the time of service.
