Victor "Chico" Rafael Santiago

Victor “Chico” Rafael Santiago, 75, of East Stroudsburg passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Pocono. Born in Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Rafael and Carmen (Santos) Santiago. Victor was the husband of Alba (Rios) Santiago with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage.

Victor was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. Victor was known to be a jokester, loved baseball- especially his Yankees, and playing a good game of dominos or a little hand of poker. Victor was employed as a super intendant for most of his life while living in New York. He has resided in the East Stroudsburg area since his retirement in 2015, and prior to that in Tuckahoe, NY.

In addition to his loving wife, Alba, Victor is survived by his daughter Ruby Santiago of East Stroudsburg, and his son Eddie Santiago and wife Santa Vega of Washington, NJ, along with his grandson Raziel Santiago. Victor is also survived by his siblings; Wilson, Carlos, Angel, Nereida, Nilda, Myrna, Migdalia, Damaris, Edwin, William, Alex, and Javier.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services.
