Thomasina McBride

Thomasina McBride, 80, of Acworth, Georgia, formerly of Bushkill, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 31, 2023, in Marietta, Georgia. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Thomas and Naomi (Williams) McBride.

Thomasina was residing in Georgia with her daughter Cheryl for the past 3 years, and before that, she lived in the Bushkill area for 35 years. She was employed as a director of Special Education at the North Brunswick Township public school district for many years. She was a member of the Faith International Church of Bushkill, Pennsylvania.

Thomasina is survived by a son William T. McBride and his wife, Kim, of Newark, N.J., and a daughter Cheryl McBride of Acworth, Ga, grandson Shaheed Benton, granddaughter Marjoni J. McBride, grandson William T. McBride Jr., granddaughter Tylera M. McBride, and granddaughter Najaiyah Price, a sister Dorchina Davala, and many nieces and nephews and life partner of 35 years, Martha Taylor.

Graveside and burial will be held on Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa., is in charge of the arrangements.
