Thomas Lampron Obituary

Thomas B. Lampron passed away on Friday, July 16 after a short illness at the age of 71.

Tom was raised in Morris Plains, NJ where he graduated from Morristown High School. He lived with his beloved wife, Cathy B. Lampron in Parsippany, NJ until building his own home and moving to Marshalls Creek, PA in 1990.

Tom was a self-employed home builder for 17 years and went on to be a data technician.

He was also a volunteer member of Parsippany-Troy Hills District 6 Fire Association where he previously served as fire chief.

From 1970 until 1971 Tom served in the U.S. Army in Phu Loi, Vietnam as a helicopter crew chief for the 165thtransport company. While in Vietnam he earned the Air Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Vietnam Service Medal.

Tom is survived by his wife, Cathy B. Lampron: his daughters Mary Gardner and her husband Harris Gardner and Patricia Lampron and her husband Shen Dillon; his granddaughter Rylie Gardner; his brother Alfred J. Lampron; and his sisters Rosemary Strelec of Morris Plains and Kathy Oakley of Morristown and eight nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Mary (Betty) Lampron of Morris Plains, NJ and sister Nancy Lovenberg of Bricktown, NJ.

Family and friends are invited to attend a church service led by his brother, Father Alfred J. Lampron, at St. Virgils Parrish, 250 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains, NJ 07950 on Sunday, July 25 at 2:30 PM, followed by a casual celebration of life picnic at the Watnong VFW Post 3401, 45 Tabor Rd., Morris Plains, NJ 07950 from 4 - 5:30 PM. Light food and drinks will be served. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 is assisting the family with arrangements.
