Theodore Joseph Herndon, III

Theodore Joseph Herndon, III, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania died Sunday, April 6, 2025, at his residence with his family by his side.  He was the loving husband of Deborah Herndon with whom he shared over 44 years of marriage.  Born in New York, he was a son of the late Ann and Theodore Herndon, II.

Theodore was a Jehovah’s Witness and was very knowledgeable and dedicated to his beliefs. He enjoyed traveling and listening to music or watching sports.  He proudly served our country in the United States Army. Theodore was a great husband, father, and grandfather putting his family above all else.  He will be truly missed by those who were blessed to know him.

Along with his wife, left to treasure his memory are his children: Sharawn Herndon; Joycelyn Pieters and her husband, Stuart; Jamila Herndon; grandchildren: J’Shaun; Lameyia; Amaliana; Antonio; Matthew; Cylena; Byron; Breyana; Brent; Barok; Bazek; sisters: Viola Judge and Margaret Herndon.

There will be no services at this time.  Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
