Sylvia Pendergrass Obituary

Sylvia L. Pendergrass 91 of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Tuesday Oct. 19, 2021 at the Gardens at Stroud East Stroudsburg, Pa. Born in Brooklyn, New York she was the daughter of Levi and Willia (Burwell) Overton.

Sylvia was residing in the Stroudsburg are for the past several years and prior to that of Tampa, Florida. She was employed as a supervisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, retiring after 30 years of service. She was of the Christian faith.

Sylvia is survived by a son Rodney Rose of Stroudsburg, Pa. and 2 granddaughters: Jasmine Rose and Tamara Rose.

Sylvia will be buried in the Serenity Meadows Memorial Park Riverview, Florida.
