Susan McGovern Obituary
Susan P. McGovern 72 of Bartonsville, Pa. passed away on Thursday Dec. 24, 2020. She was the loving wife of Gregory G. McGovern with whom she had celebrated 52 years of marriage.
Born in New York City she was the daughter of Patrick and Joan (Walker) Byrne. Susan was a resident of the Bartonsville area for the past 30 years and prior to that she resided in the Port Richmond, Staten Island, New York area. She was employed for T-Mobile in the customer service department for several years. Susan was an active member of the Barton Glen Association for several years.
In addition to her husband Gregory she is survived by 2 sons: Kenneth McGovern and his wife Beth, Brian McGovern and his wife Crystal and a daughter Jennifer McGovern and her husband Alex Lomio; 6 siblings: Kathy Clarke and her husband Jerry, PG Byrne and his wife Angela, Joan Duffy and her husband Jack, Brian Byrne and his wife Suzie, Monica Reilly and her husband Chris, and Timothy Byrne and his wife Barbara and grandchildren: Mary McGovern, Patrick McGovern and Katherine Lomio, Edward Lomio, Kaylynne Keller, Corynn Keller, Madison McGovern, Victoria McGovern, Colin McGovern, and Kathryne McGovern and great grandchildren: Emma Winters, Liala Lomio-Dameron, Bentley Johnson and Sylas Lomio-Damerson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday Dec. 28, 2020 at 6:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa.18360. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.
