Stephanie Patricia Gates

Stephanie Patricia Gates, 49, of Scranton, Pennsylvania died Friday, August 29, 2025.  Born in Staten Island, New York, she was the daughter of Patricia Gates of Scranton and the late Thomas Patrick Gates.

Stephanie was a mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and loyal friend. She was very active in her church and was a devout catholic. Stephanie was a great swimmer and was on the swimming team in high school. She loved to read and write. She was also a lover of animals, especially her dear dog.

Stephanie is survived by her sons: Joseph Dunstone; Michael Dunstone, brother: Harold Gates of Manhattan, New York, and many dear friends.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 1:00PM at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Family will receive friends from 11:00AM to the time of service.
