Sigrid "Siggy" Kovalsky

Sigrid “Siggy” Kovalsky, 61, of Bushkill died Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital – Monroe in Bartonsville.  She was the loving wife of the late Andrew Kovalsky with whom she shared 37 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2022.  Born in Pennbrook, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Broughton) Isherwood.

Siggy held several jobs throughout her life.  However, she was most proud of the job title of mother.  She loved to care for her family and cherished her time with them.

She is survived by her daughters: Rebecca Kovalsky, Tabatha Kovalsky, Karen Castro; grandchildren: Chelsea Windle, Bernard Dorothy, and Nate McKeever. She was preceded in death by her grandson Brayden Doherty.

There will be no services at this time.  Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Donations can be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral costs to the family.
