Sarah Markantonis

 Sarah Markantonis 85, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday July 17, 2024. She was the loving wife of Nicholas G. Markantonis. Born in Brooklyn, New York she was the daughter Anthony and Antoniette (Guerrieri) Genua.

Sarah was residing in the Stroudsburg area for the past 19 years and she was of the Christian faith. She worked as a secretary in the School district for many years.

In addition to her husband Nicholas she is survived by a son George  Markantonis and his wife Silvania and their 4 children: Geogette, Gianna, Jeslyn and Jessa all of Clifton Park, New York and a sister Bridget Mides of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 20, 2024 at 6:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm at the funeral home.
