Sally Marie King

Sally Marie King, 83, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, died March 2, 2024, at Whitestone Care Center in Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of the late Ronald S. King, with whom she had shared 33 years before his passing in 2022. Born in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late August and Sally (Szuszaman) Somodi.

Sally was a bingo and tricky tray enthusiast and always a winner. Sally enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing, nature, and spending time with her large family. As a lifelong animal lover, she enjoyed watching the deer but was especially fond of cats.

Sally retired from accounting after 40+ years of career progression at Mack Trucks.

Sally is survived by her children: Vicky Papics, Marie Deresky, Patrick Saragusa, Albert Saragusa, Gasper Saragusa, Sally Jo Saragusa, and Elizabeth Kennedy; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

There will be a private celebration of life at a later date. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
