Obituary
Ryan P. VanGorden, 51, of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Monday May 8, 2023. He was the husband of Jaclyn L. (Fisher) VanGorden for the past 30 years. Born in East Stroudsburg, Pa. he was the son of Doyle VanGorden and his wife Jacqueline of Stroudsburg, Pa., and Deborah (Shook) Freeman and her husband Eric of Mt. Meyers, Fl.
Ryan was a lifelong resident of the Stroudsburg area. He owned and operated The Quick Lube garage on North Ninth St. in Stroudsburg for 25 years.
In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by 2 daughters: Haley VanGorden of Mt. Bethel, Pa. and Katherine VanGorden of Los Angles, CA., a sister Rachel Peiffer and her husband Brad and their children: Sophia, Lilly and Noah of Richmond, Virginia and 2 half-brothers: Aaron VanGorden of Olyphant, Pa. and Trevor VanGorden of Wexford, Pa.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday May 16, 2023, at 7:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm at the funeral home.
