Rosemary Turner Obituary

Rosemary K. Turner, 82, of East Stroudsburg, died Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Whitestone Care Center while under hospice care. She fought a brave second battle with leukemia. Born in Nyack, New York, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Rose O. (Wooton) Knieriam.

Rosemary worked as a teacher’s aide in elementary education for many years. She loved being able to relax with a good book while on the beach. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons: Kevin Turner and his wife, Kim, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; Chris Turner and his wife, Angela, of Frisco, Texas; David Turner and his wife, Sabrina, of Colleyville, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at a later date. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18360.
