Romanus C. Ofoegbu

   Romanus C. Ofoegbu 67 of East Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Saturday June 25, 2022.  He was the loving husband of Ngozi P. Ofoegbu with whom he had celebrated 41 years of marriage.

  Born in Umunachi Osu-Ama Mbano, Nigeria he was the son of Christopher and Christiana Ofoegbu. Roman was a resident of the E. Stroudsburg area for the past 40 years. He was employed as a truck driver for many years and since 2016 for the United Parcel Service. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville, Pa.

  In addition to his wife Ngozi he is survived by his children: Adamma  Ofoegbu, Adaugo Ofoegby, Kimberly Ofoegbu, Ogechi Ofoegbu, Amanze Ofoegbu, Amara Ofoegbu, Arinze Ofoegbu and 2 grandchildren: Daniel Espana Schmidt and Vivienne Espana Schmidt.

   A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10:30 am at Our Lady Of Victory Catholic Church Cherry Lane Road, Tannersville, Pa. 18372 with Fr. Richard E. Czachor as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Mountainview Mausoleum at Prospect Cemetery East Stroudsburg, Pa.  The family will receive friends from 9:30am until the time of the mass at the church. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements.
