Robert F. Skantze

 Robert F. Skantze, 84, of Saylorsburg died Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at his residence.  He was the loving husband of Jacqueline (Carolan) Skantze.

Born in Westfield, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Harold and Catherine (Nuss) Skantze. Bob was a resident of the Saylorsburg area for the past 33 years and prior to that he resided in the Blairstown, N.J. area. He was a retired Lieutenant with the New Jersey State Police having served at the Blairstown, N.J. Barracks.

In addition to his wife Jackie, he is survived by his children: Donald Boehm of Saylorsburg, Pa., John Boehm and wife Ivy of Trinity, Fl. And Karen Skantze and husband Scott of Bellbrook, Ohio, a brother Walter Skantze and wife Florence of Orange, Fl. and grandchildren: Catherine Boehm, Sarah Knebel, Rachael Knebel and Molly Knebel.

Gravesides services and burial will be held on Tuesday Sept. 13, 2022, at 2:00pm in the Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery Kenilworth, New Jersey. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. is in charge of the arrangements.
