Robert E. Shoopack 44 of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Monday April 26, 2021 at his home. Born in East Stroudsburg, Pa. he was the son of Richard C. and Ines (Munoz) Shoopack.
Bob lived most of his life in the Stroudsburg area, and also resided in New York City and Penfield, NY. He graduated from Stroudsburg High School Class of 1994 and graduated from East Stroudsburg University Class of 1998. He was working for Berkheimer Tax Consultants in the customer service relations department for the past several years. He was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Stroudsburg, Pa.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Juliana Shoopack of Southlake, Texas, whom he absolutely adored, a brother, James R. Shoopack and his wife Shannah of East Stroudsburg, Pa. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bob was an accomplished marathoner, and an avid fitness enthusiast. He was a big fan of all Philadelphia sports, yet in particular the Philadelphia Eagles and was formerly a season ticket holder. Bob will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of his daughter Juliana, time spent with loved ones, and his compassion for animals, especially dogs, and in particular his dog Lucky, and his “furry nephews and nieces” Snitches, Stewart, Sadie and Doody, who loved him dearly and affectionately knew him as “Uncle Jorge.”
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday April 30, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 818 Main St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360 with Fr. Carmen Perry as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.
