Robert J. Nasso

Robert J. Nasso, 68, of Terryville, Connecticut formerly of Bushkill, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday August 21, 2023, in Bristol Hospital, Bristol, Connecticut. He was the husband of Yelena Nasso and was preceded in death by his first wife and love Ann Marie (Gray) Nasso. Born in Queens, New York, he was the son of the late Rocco and Marian (Brannan) Nasso. He was a member of the Catholic Church of St. John in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Robert was residing in the CT area for the past 20 years with his loving wife and prior to that he resided in the Bushkill, PA area. He was employed by Lockheed Martin, formerly Unisys Defense Systems, where he was a paint production sprayer for many years. Most recently, Robert worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS and truly enjoyed helping his customers, going above and beyond to make sure their needs were met. Robert loved his family deeply, the Dad jokes were endless, and his presence will be sorely missed. He and Yelena took pleasure in traveling around the world. Their favorite place to visit was Nerja, Spain, where they spent many joyous moments which will forever be cherished by his wife. Robert was also a talented musician and passionate about finding a perfect slice of pizza.

In addition to his wife Yelena, he is survived by his children: Lisa (Nasso) Cross and her husband Steve, Jennifer (Nasso) Sisler and her husband Aaron, and Robert J. Nasso Jr. all of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and a step-daughter Yulia Chillington and her husband Brian of Southington, CT, seven grandchildren: Kayden, Annjalie, Jacob, Ethan, Cara, Tyler and Alisa. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jean D’Andrea.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on, Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Church of St. John, 5171 Milford Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302 with Fr. Gregory A. Reichlen as celebrant. Burial will take place in the Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg, PA at 2:30 pm. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the mass at the church.
