Robert F. Geffers

  Robert "Bob" Geffers, 79, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital Monroe Campus. Born in the Bronx, New York, he was the son of Robert and Rosemary (Murphy) Geffers.

  Bob was residing in the Henryville area for the past four years and prior to that of the Marshall’s Creek area. He was a retired Secret Service Police Officer having worked and served under several United States Presidents at the White House. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville and he was an Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam War.

  Bob is survived by his sister Marlene R. Maula and her husband Kenneth of Henryville, PA and a brother Thomas Geffers and his wife Marie of Cresco, PA and several nieces and nephews.

  Graveside services will be held on Monday August 3, 2026, at 11:00am in the Stroudsburg Cemetery with Fr. Richard Czachor officiating. Burial will follow the service.
