Robert E. Scott

Robert Eugene Scott was born in Manhattan, NY on October 8th, 1948 to Ella Louise Whitehead-Scott and Robert Eugene Scott, Sr.

In 1968, he graduated from George Washington High School. He studied psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. After graduating, he began working in several diverse fields before working as a car inspector at Amtrak, where he retired after 30 years.

On May 21st, 1994, Robert married his best friend, Muriel Verette. He was a loving, devoted husband and the greatest dad. He enjoyed watching sports, engaging in politics, and spending time with his family.

Robert left us on December 22nd, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife Muriel, his children Loren, Nakia, Kyla, Shareen and Jarrod. Including his grandchildren, Te’shan, De’shan, Camilo, Sariah and Blaise.

Robert also had a large extended family, which includes a niece and nephew in law, along with a host of cousins.

Robert has many lifelong friends and will be truly missed.
