Robert was one of 11 children. His parents, Ida Brown and Timothy Bovell instilled discipline, honesty and respect into their children and Robert carried that throughout his life. This was followed by him also joining The United States Army. After several career changes he found his calling by becoming a mechanic. He was fond of telling people that as long as you had working hands, eyes and a brain that you should never be broke.
Robert enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an amazing father and grandfather. His many nieces and nephews considered him as a loving and playful father figure. His siblings knew that they could always count on him with no questions asked. Wherever he went he was adopted into the fold.
Robert lent a helping hand and sage advice to one and all. He was truly everyone’s Uncle Rob.
