Richard Lipka

   Richard Lipka, 87, of Stroudsburg, PA passed away on Sunday January 26, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital Bartonsville, PA. He was the loving husband of Emma (Possinger) Ayala with whom he had celebrated 44 years of marriage.

  Born in Queens, New York, he was the son of Joseph and Katherine (Janiszewska) Lipka. Richard was residing in the Stroudsburg area for the past 30 years. He was employed as a tax accountant for many years, and he was of the catholic faith. He was an army veteran.

  In addition to his wife Emma, he is survived by stepchildren: Nelson Ayala, Joseph Ayala, Gregory Ayala and Cecilia Seminara and grandchildren; David, Josh, Daniel, Kristina and Christopher.

    A Catholic prayer service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the services at the funeral home.
