Richard Allen Custred, Jr.

Richard Allen Custred, Jr. departed this life on July 18, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Richie, known to some as Dickie, was born on April 13, 1985. Late of Tannersville, PA he was predeceased by his mother Hilda Ayers and grandmother Mae Williams. Survived by his children, Gabriella, Hunter, and Jaxxon Custred, his father and step-mother, Richard, Sr. and Lorrie, Jenna Russ, his brother Joshua and his wife Sarah, and their son Barrett, his grandparents Kenneth, Sr. and Rose Custred, girlfriend Crystal Davis and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Richie was a proud father, son, brother & uncle, enjoyed being around his family, the great outdoors, hunting with family & friends and working. He was always there to lend a hand. He worked hard and played even harder. The word, “no” was not in his vocabulary. Richie will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be missed by his fellow tree work family at Tree Ways and his painting family with Quinn’s painting. He wasn’t perfect but he was ours.

A celebration of life will be conducted at the Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Company on Saturday, July 29th from 1:00-4:00 in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be made to his family to start a Trust Fund for his children.
