Rhonda S. Whyte-Nichols

Rhonda Whyte-Nichols, 58, of Bushkill, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 10, 2023.  She was the loving wife of Noel Nichols with whom she shared 28 years of marriage.  Born in Kingston, Jamaica, she was a daughter of the late Lynford and Viviene (Tulloch) Whyte.

Rhonda was a woman of God; a caring and forgiving lady and a prayer warrior.  She was a mother figure to all who came to her regardless of their age.  She was selfless and strong.  Any project she took on, she was sure to follow through and see it to the end. Rhonda had a great sense of humor and enjoyed sewing or cooking a great meal. 

Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Philicia Nichols and her fiancé, Tyler Haynes, of Tobyhanna; Leandra Mesa of Hazelton; Liliana Mesa of Pen Argyl; Linette Mesa of McAdoo; Natalie Nichols of London and grandson Elijah Haynes.

There will be a viewing on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 9:00 – 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at the Mountain Stream Baptist Church, 305 Darthmouth Drive, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302.  Burial will follow at Stroudsburg Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
