Obituary
Paul Joseph Brooks, Jr. ,65, of Reading, Pennsylvania passed away on March 28, 2023, in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Born in Tucson, Arizona he was the son of Paul Joseph and Jackie Kay (Denny) Brooks.
Paul went to Bellefonte Area High School, graduating in 1976 and joined the Army soon after high school. After his service, he opened a gas station in State College, Pennsylvania. Paul was a free spirit and began working in the construction industry which took him throughout the western US; Colorado, Nevada, Arizona. Most recently, he was working in the Reading PA area for Longview Construction Company.
He is survived by a brother David Brooks of Midlothian, Virginia; sisters: Debbie Brooks of Fort Pierce, Florida and Diane Brooks of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. A third sister, Sharon Shuey passed away in 2021.
There will be no services at this time. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
