On Friday, May 14, 2021, Patrick E. Carrow was summoned to heaven by God to join his beloved wife of 58 years, Rosa Carrow. Patrick was born to the late James Harvey and Margaret C. Daniels. Honoring his memory is his devoted son; Tony and daughter in-law Mary Carrow, his devoted daughter; Kecia Carrow, brother; James Harvey Jr, sister; Maryanne Moore, Sister in-law; Edythe Poole, 4 grandchildren; Tony Jr, Chris, Alteriek and Kyle, 4 great grandchildren; Jamya, AJ, Shala, and Aaliyah, also a host of other family and friends.
Patrick grew up in Washington, NC and attended Mother of Mercy High School. Patrick joined the United States Army, serving 3 years, 2 months, and 25 days. After working several jobs Patrick joined the Newark Police Dept., receiving numerous citations and certificates. He also worked at security for Pope John II, and did Community service during the 9/11 crisis. After 30 years with the Newark Police Department, Patrick retired as a decorated detective.
Patrick loved his family and friends. He loved playing drums, card games, going to the casino, and sharing his knowledge. Patrick was also very spiritual.
Our family chain in broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.
Graveside services will take place in Graceland Memorial Park, 1900 Galloping Hill Rd, Kenilworth, NJ on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11AM.
