Onofre Sanchez

Onofre Sanchez 74 of East Stroudsburg, Pa. died on Wednesday May 26, 2021. He was the
wife Cecilia Maria Delsalto. Born in Chicoral Tolima, Columbia he was the son of Luis and Constellation
Sanchez. Onofre resided in the E. Stroudsburg area for the past 4 years and prior to that he lived in the
Brooklyn, N.Y. area.
He worked as Machine Mechanic most of his life and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his wife Cecilia he is survived by a daughter Jessica Wagner and her husband
Kevin of East Stroudsburg, Pa. and 2 sons: Luis Sanchez and his wife Michelle of Kunkletown, Pa. and
David Sanchez also of E. Stroudsburg, Pa., 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and his siblings: Alba
Isaza, Aurora Ruiz and Angela Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by a grandson and a brother Luis.
There will be a viewing on Friday May 28, 2021 from 6-8:00pm with a prayer service starting
7:30pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 223 N. 9th St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360
