Natalia Peralta

Natalia Peralta, 40, of Canadensis, Pennsylvania died Monday, June 15, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bartonsville after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the widow of the late Leonardo Melendez, with whom she shared 18 years prior to his passing in September 2025. Born in Bronx, New York, she was a daughter of the late Jose and Maribel Peralta.

Natalia raised her children and was active in their schooling and activities.  She was a devoted mother and wife.

Natalia is survived by her children: Isaiah Melendez; Maribel Melendez; Jose Peralta; and Davon Rosario; sisters: Jasmine; Jessica; brother: Christopher and many dear friends.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
