Maxine Jackson

Maxine Jackson, 78, of Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono in East Stroudsburg. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Hilbert and Catherine Jackson.

Maxine was residing in the Delaware Water Gap, PA area for the past 18 years and prior to that of Bushkill, PA area. She was employed as a postal clerk with the United States Postal Service for many years working in the New York City area.

  She is survived by a son Marcellus D. Jackson and his fiancé Latisha Hill of Delaware Water Gap, PA; grandson Javon Jackson, and 2 brothers: Teel Jackson and Melvin Jackson. Maxine was preceded in death by a brother Smoky Jackson.

  Funeral services will be held on Monday October 27, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery East Stroudsburg, PA . The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home.
