Mary Bosworth Obituary

Mary Palma Bosworth, 92, of Tannersville, Pennsylvania died Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono in East Stroudsburg.  Born in West New York, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Caesar and Raparata Cerritelli.

Mary was employed as a secretary for Prentice Hall Publishing Company and also for a law office and AAA.  Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, she was a member of St. Joseph’s of the Palisades Catholic Church in West New York where she was a member of the choir.  She was the most forgiving, loving, and caring person you could meet.  She never spoke ill of anyone and always helped others.  She had a great sense of humor and was quick with a comeback.  Mary enjoyed watching baseball games on TV or Jeopardy, knowing most of the answers.

She is survived by her son; John Fagliarone and his wife, Toni; daughter Dee Lawson; grandchildren: Dina Snyder, Ryan Fagliarone, Justin and Randy Lawson, Allison York; Jarred Hart; great grandchildren: Benjamin, Zachary and Isabella Roberti, Alex Snyder, sisters Cecilia DelGrande, Joanne York and many beloved nieces.

There will be a blessing service on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.  A viewing will take place from 12:00 PM to the time of service.
