Marvin H. Callender

   Marvin H. Callender, 70, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Shanique Huggins-Callender. Born in Bridgetown, Barbados, he was the son of Winfield and Lucille Callender.

  Marvin was residing in the East Stroudsburg area for the past 18 years. He was employed as a restaurant manager for many years.

  In addition to his wife Shanique he is survived by 7 children: Marvin Callender Jr., Devon Callender, Shawn Callender, Ian Callender, Jashani Callender, Raliek Chambers, and Jihad Chambers, grandsons: Deshaun, Myles, and Otto; sisters: Rosberyl Bailey and Carolyn Gibson and several nieces and nephews.

  Memorial services will be held on Friday April 10, 2026, at 1:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N 9th St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of the services at the funeral home.
