It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Martha (Marci) Ann (Haney) Kishbaugh. Her sudden passing occurred on October 24, 2024, at the age of 83. Martha was born on January 25, 1941, to the late Stanley and Hilda (Remmel) Haney of Bossardsville, Pennsylvania.
After Martha’s graduation in 1959, she worked in the garment industry and advanced to quality control in that field. Later, she became a co-owner of a restaurant in Dover, Delaware called The Celery Garden while also co-owner of Eagle Valley Homes. She then followed her passion to own and operate an antique establishment.
Martha found joy in life, going down many paths. She was a traveler of the world along with numerous group trips with friends and family to many places in the United States. Martha was often found hosting birthday dinners for family members, tea parties with guests, holiday festivities with Halloween being her most favorite. Her countless friends included the Red Hat Ladies, her neighbors, and people of all ages joining together to enjoy a glass of wine. She loved and often opened her arms to friends and family to join her boating trips. Always playing jokes and getting everyone to play games and have fun.
Martha had very strong ties to her little church, Cherry Valley United Methodist Church along with various other charities she took under her wing. Martha was a library to the family. She passed on stories and memories from the past that are priceless. She will be enormously missed by all those she shared her life with.
