Mark S. Johnson

Mark S. Johnson, 63, of Tamiment, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at his residence. He was the loving husband of Beverly D. (Stephens) Johnson with whom he shared 39 years of marriage but were sweethearts for 45 years. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Selwyn and Betty (Hill) Johnson.

Mark was residing in the Tamiment area for the past 30 years and prior to that of Brooklyn, New York. He served as a New York City Police Officer for 20 years retired. He later worked at the East Stroudsburg Area High School North and at Lehman Intermediate School as a PCA. He was a member of the Faith International Church in East Stroudsburg, PA.

In addition to his wife Beverly, he is survived by two daughters: Tiffany Poindexter and her husband, Ravon; Ashley Johnson; grandchildren: Zendayah and Zarabella; brothers: Kerwin Johnson and his wife, Tonya; Glenford Brooks; mother-in-law: Estell Stephens Brunson; sister-in-law: Jacqueline Dominguez; brothers-in-law: Russell Stephens; Terry Stephens; Emanuel Stevens; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 5:00pm at the Faith International Church, 530 Seven Bridge Rd. East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. There will be a viewing from 4:00pm until the time of the services at the church. Burial will be at the Sandhill Cemetery Bushkill, PA at 10:00 am on Monday June 1, 2026. The Joseph J.
