Maria Rosa Santos

  Maria Rosa Santos 91 of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Tuesday June 11, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Feliz Cesario Santos who died in February of 2024. Born in Manta, Ecuador she was the daughter of Lewis and Delmira (Delgado) Veliz.

  Maria was residing in the Stroudsburg area for the past year and prior to that she resided in the Freehold, New Jersey area. She was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Stroudsburg, Pa.

 She is survived by her children: Pedro Santos wife Rochelle of Stroudsburg, Pa., Jose Santos wife Felicita of Charlotte, N.C. and Mercedes Valencia husband Jose of Freehold, N.J., daughter in law Ana Santos, many grand, great and great, great, grandchildren. Maria was preceded death by children: Felix Santos Jr., Rosa Ludig and Carlos Santos.

   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 18, 2024 at 10:00am from St. Luke’s Catholic Church 818 Main St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360 with Fr. Michael Quinnan as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Woodbridge Memorial Cemetery Woodbridge, New Jersey. There will be a viewing on Monday June 17, 2024 from 2-4:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360
