Maria Cathers Obituary

Maria C. Cathers, 83, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylania passed away on Wednesday May 14, 2025. Born in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of Frank and Rose Caetta.

Maria was residing in the Stroudsburg area for the past 34 years. She worked as a professional cook most of her life and she attended St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

Maria is survived by her children: Tracy M. Cathers and Richard Cathers, both of Stroudsburg, PA and Yvette Cathers of Tonawanda, NY; grandchildren: Gabriella, Alyssa, Brianna, Jimmy and Chris.

Private cremation services were provided by the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360.
