Margaret Mary “Marge”” McLean, 87, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, formerly of Reeders died Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. She was the loving wife of Andrew E. McLean with whom she shared over 68 years of marriage. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Matilda Wolf.
Marge was a loyal and dedicated member of Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church in Tannersville. She ran the CCD program as well as teaching, was chair of the raffles for the church bazaar, assisted with money counting on Mondays, filled in at the office at church, served as eucharistic minister, and was a member of the ladies' guild for over 30 years. Marge also served her community by volunteering for Meals on Wheels. She loved to travel with her husband, and they took many trips together with the church. Marge was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She cared for her daughters and ensured they had everything they needed. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Nancy Wenzel and her husband, Ben; Linda Garofano and her husband, Guy; Patti Parker and her husband, Ty; grandchildren: Andy Garofano and his wife, Samantha; Chris Wenzel and his wife, Jenna; Ricky Wenzel; Ashley Marquez and her husband, Alex; Dan Garofano and his wife, Lauren; Beau Parker; Teddy Parker; great-grandchildren: Remy, Silas, Elizabeth, Abigail; siblings: Patricia Loeber; Eileen DeBree; Thomas Wolf; many nieces and nephews, and numerous dear friends.
Fr. Richard Czachor will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church, 327 Cherry Lane Road, Tannersville, PA 18372.. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N. 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
