Obituary

Luis Rosado, 69, of Stroudsburg passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. He was the husband of Shirley (Rodriguez) Rosado, with whom he was married for 47 years. Luis was born in Bronx, NY to the late Raul and Noris Rosado.

Luis was of the Catholic faith and a member of Saint Luke's Catholic Church. He was a US Marine Veteran, and later was employed as a US Postal Police Officer in NYC for 28 years.

In addition to his wife, Luis is survived by his son; Luis Rosado and wife Miri of Stroudsburg, daughter; Christina Rosado of Cary, N.C., grandchildren; Mia, Eli, Jayla, and Julie, brother; Wilfredo Rosado of Orlando, FL, and sister; Lucy Romero of Levittown, NY. He is preceded in death by his sister Julie Campo.

A viewing will be held Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 5-7pm at the Joseph J Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. A Mass of Christian burial will be held December 28, 2020 at 10:30AM in Saint Luke's Catholic Church, Stroudsburg. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Luis's name to the Wounded Warriors project, St. Jude's Children Hospital, and the Diabetes Foundation.
Please note, all Covid 19 guidelines will be in effect for the visitation at the funeral home.
