Lucile Ledbetter

Lucile Ledbetter, 92, of Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Stroudburg Post Acute Nursing in Stroudsburg. She was the widow of the late John Ledbetter who passed in 2008. Born in Wrightsville, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Elijah and Caroline Branham.

Lucile worked as a beautician in Newark, New Jersey prior to her retirement and moving to the Poconos in 2018. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Lucile is survived by her daughters: Karen Green and her husband, Eugene of Tobyhanna, PA; Carol Smith of Lansdowne, PA; grandchildren: Chantre; Austin; Alexander; Avery; Kaila; great-grandchildren: Iylan; Maya; Alaric; Aluna; sisters: Mattie Jean; Mildred; Lillian and her husband, James.

A funeral service and burial will take place at a later date in East Dublin, Georgia.
