Louise E. Corrente

Louise E. Corrente 76 of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Monday May 9, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Michael D. Corrente Sr. with whom she had celebrated 53 years of marriage. Born in Staten Island, New York she was the daughter of Louis and Jennie (Kozma) Torzsas.

  Louise was a resident of the Reeders area for the past 27 years and prior to that she resided in the Staten Island, New York area. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville, Pa.

   In addition to her husband Michael she is survived by her children: Michael D. Corrente Jr. of Vietnam, Tracy Stangle and her husband David of Marshalls Creek, Pa. Daniella Corrente of Stroudsburg, Pa. and Judith Bonkowski and her husband Michael of Mt. Laurel, N.J.: grandchildren: Joseph, Casey, Alexandra, Nicole, Madalena, Giuliana and Sofia, great grandchildren: Preston, Vivian, Marjory, Vance, Luke, Maya and Colton; 2 sisters: Irma Saia and Gloria Paramithis. Louise was preceded in death by a sister Theresa Naeder.

   A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday May 17, 2022 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church 327 Cherry Lane Rd. Tannersville, Pa. with Fr. Richard E. Czachor as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peters Cemetery Staten Island, N.Y.

  There will be a viewing on Monday Many 16, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th St.Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360
