Louis A. Otero

   Louis A. Otero 77 of East Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Saturday Feb, 20, 2021. He was the husband of Julia (Torres) Otero with whom he had celebrated 54 years of marriage. Born in Manhattan, New York he was the son of Luis and Candida (Martinez) Otero.

 Louis was a resident of the E. Stroudsburg area for the past 24 years and prior to that he resided in the New York area. He was employed in the maintenance department at the Port Authority of New York City for many years retiring in 2005. He was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in East Stroudsburg, Pa.

  In addition to his wife Julia he is survived by 2 daughters: Victoria Diaz and her husband Juan of E. Stroudsburg, Pa. and Catherine Otero of Manhattan, N.Y., 4 grandchildren: Juan, Melissa, Emily, and Isaiah and 4 great grandchildren: Catalina, Calo, Anijah andLensay.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday Feb, 27, 2021 at 10:30am from St. Matthews Catholic Church 200 Brodhead Ave. E. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18301 Burial will follow in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.
