Lorraine Regina Aives, 87, of East Stroudsburg died Friday, August 4, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Ghorsi) Crevello.
Lorraine was born and raised in Brooklyn and moved to the Poconos in 1984 where she lived with her son. She enjoyed travelling and visiting places all around the world. Life introduced her to many types of people including prestigious political figures; she dealt with everyone with style and grace. A Chanel No. 5 lady all the way, Lorraine appreciated dining in upscale restaurants, had a fine taste in movies and loved Barbara Streisand. She was a strong woman who completed all she set out to do. Occasionally, you could find her taking a chance with the one-armed bandit.
Lorraine is survived by her sons: Thomas Aives; Douglas Aives and his wife, Debra, grandchildren: Giovanna, Domenick, Rosa; nieces and nephews: Donna, Joseph, and Robert.
A service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 11:45 am at Holmdel Mausoleum Chapel, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
In lieu of flowers, we ask all to consider making a memorial donation in her name to the ALS Association at donate.als.org.
