Linda Marie Klinger

Linda Marie Purdy Klinger of East Stroudsburg, PA, passed away on November 11, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 19, 1951, in Paterson, NJ.

Linda was retired. She enjoyed reading novels and spending time with her family and friends and was known for cooking her Spanish rice and empanadas for everyone. She Loved to SHOP!! Linda had a heart of gold and would do anything she could to help anyone, often putting the needs of others before her own.

She is survived by her longtime companion Jonathan Johnson, sister Laura Purdy, and brother Jan Thomas (Connie); her children: Alfred Klinger, Lisa Brobeck (Keith Robinson), Karen McDougald, Kelli Dietz, Carlee Lucia Klinger & Madison Paige Klinger, and a host of beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. All of whom she cherished.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Jane (McCreath) and Robert Purdy; her sisters; Margaret McCreath Walsh, Robin H. Morgan & Beverly J. Prall; and her brother Michael E. Purdy.

Much Appreciation & thanks to Donna, Alfred Sr, and Jonathan for your dedication and help in caring for her.  A special thank you to her nieces Kim and Andrea for all the love, help & support they gave during this journey.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Hospice House & VNA Hospice of Monroe County in East Stroudsburg for the Amazing care and compassion they showed to Linda & family in her final days. There will be no services at this time. In lieu of Flowers please make a donation to the Sylvia Rosen Hospice House Endowment in Honor of Linda.

Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
