Linda M. Coburn

Linda M. Coburn age 69, of East Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Sunday May 19, 2024. She was the loving wife of Stephen R. Coburn with whom she would have celebrated 40 years of marriage in June. Born in Scranton, Pa. she was the daughter of Mary (Ostrowski) Smalanskas of E. Stroudsburg, Pa. and the late William Smalanskas.

 Linda was residing in the E. Stroudsburg area for the past 35 years and prior to that she resided in the  Flanders, N.J. and Kendall, Florida areas and her early years in the Scranton area. Linda was employed as a sales clerk in the Jewelry department at the J.C. Penny Department Store in the Stroud Mall of Stroudsburg, Pa. for many years.

  In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by a brother William Smalanskas and his wife Cynthia of Santa Rosa, CA.

  There will be a Mass of Christian burial on Friday May 24, 2024 at 10:00am from St. Matthews Catholic Church 78 Ridgeway St. E. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18301. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Wyoming, Pa. The family will receive friends on Thursday May 23, 2024  from 6-8:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360.
