March 5, 1933 ~ December 31, 2023 (age 90) 90 Years Old
Lina Koerner, 90, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, December 31, 2023, in Clifford Township with her loving family by her side. Born in New York City, New York, she was the daughter of the late Edward M. and Karolina (Arnold) Willamzheimer.
Lina was a master crafter. She enjoyed wood carving, metal sculpting, making enamel jewelry and feather earrings. Lina would create beautiful flowers from paper or ribbon. She made crosses out of corn husks that she would donate to missionaries. She loved to travel and enjoyed many different cultures and countries during her life. A hardworker, she was employed as a promoter for arts & craft shows. Lina was an inspirational woman, making positive impacts on everyone she came in contact with.
Lina is survived by her son Peter Koerner and his wife, Brenda; daughter Karolina Koerner; grandson Adam Ben-Avi and his wife, Greta; and great grandchildren: Eva and Evan.
There will be no services. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
