Leonard “Lenny” R. DiSanto 84 of East Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Wednesday Aug. 3, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Alda M. “Mickey” McEachern with whom she had celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Born in Yonkers, New York he was the son of Leonard and Rosaria (Denise) DiSanto. Lennie was a resident of the East Stroudsburg area for the past 50 years and prior to that he lived in the Yonkers, N.Y. area. He owned and operated the L. & M. Plumbing Company for many years before retiring. Lenny was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in E. Stroudsburg, Pa. and was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Lenny was an avid golfer, and he was the youngest of eight children. He was a very gentle and loving man and will be sadly missed by all his friends and family.
In addition to his wife Mickey, he is survived by a daughter: Gina Ostendorf-Fagan of Bushkill, Pa., a son Lenny DiSanto and his wife Victoria of Kansas City, Missouri, a grandson: Hector Mercado and a daughter in law Linda DiSanto of Louisiana. Lennie was preceded in death by a son Anthony DiSanto and a grandson A.J. DiSanto.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday Aug. 10, 2022, at 11:00am from St. John’s Catholic Church 5171 Milford Rd. E. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18302 with Fr. Gregory R. Reichlen as celebrant. Final interment will be in the Sandhill Cemetery Bushkill, Pa.
