Karen J. Prokop

 Karen J. Prokop, 61, of Bushkill, Pennsylvania died Sunday September 3, 2023. She was the loving wife of Edward Prokop with whom she had celebrated 40 years of marriage. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Richard and Lorilee (Konnick) Kanard.

 Karen worked as a clerk/typist for DCNR, state of Pennsylvania. She was a strong in faith and enjoyed praying with her husband. She loved the outdoors and to be on the water either kayaking or looking for waterfalls. She took pride in collecting stamps from all the Pennsylvania parks.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Jeremy N. Prokop; daughters; Genevieve Guerra and Melanie Cooper.

There will be no services at this time. Private cremation was entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360.
