Karen H. Bair

Karen H. Graepel Derrick Bair, 77, of East Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully into the hands of God on Friday, November 25, 2022.

Born in Staten Island, New York, on April 3, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Hans and Gladys (Behler) Graepel.  She lived in the Poconos for over 70 years.

Karen is survived by her 3 children; Emmitt Derrick; Angelica LaBar and her husband, Ron; Michelle Nauman and her husband, David; 12 grandchildren: Tim, Michael, Barbara, Tracy, Andrew, Alison, Taylor, Stephanie, Ronnie, Drake, Alexander, and Elyse; 6 great grandchildren: Serenity, Luka, Jamie, Schyler, Clara, Edna and one on the way.  She was preceded in death by her brothers Edwin and Henry and sisters Gertrude and Mary.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 139 Craigs Meadow Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her honor to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.

Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
