Juan M. Ramos

   Juan M. “J.R.” Ramos 67 of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Thursday Aug. 11, 2022. He was the loving husband of Hope Elona Smith. Born in New York City, New York he was the son of Maria (Mary) Cruz Ramos of Paterson, N.J. and the late Juan M. Ramos Sr.

   Juan was residing in the E. Stroudsburg area for the past 27 years and prior to that he resided in the Bronx, New York area. He was a graduate of the Rutgers University and Rutgers Law School receiving his Juris Doctorate degree. He worked as an attorney in the New York City area for many years.

 In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by: Children; Johnny Ramos wife Jacquelyn Dixon, Michelle Milton husband Montoya, David Ramos wife Rosa and Michael Ramos and wife Maria Dinunzi, Grandchildren: Zaccheus Milton and Wife Jessica, Javan Milton and Savion Milton, great grandchild Zaccai Milton, Mother in law Patsie Moore, Brother in law Elton Smith, Sisters in law Patricia Smith and Sheron Chumg, and Nephews: Kaui Smith, Ricardo Smith and Donald Smith.

  Funeral services will be held on Friday Aug. 19, 2022, at 12:00noon at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. with Rev. Paul Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.
